Getting Your Dog Into A Heel

To encourage your dog to learn the 'Heel' off leash, you must teach your dog to follow you. This is part of the 'alpha' role you play as your dog's owner and guardian. Sometimes dogs when not socialized want to take over the role OR you may give up the role without knowing this.

The aim of the heel off leash is to have your dog follow you. Your puppy or dog will quickly learn that it should not divert their attention from you or they will head off in a new direction and the consequences are not good.
