Bad Dog Behavior

Why Do Dogs Display Bad Behavior?

Dogs are social animals, naturally wanting to belong to a pack. Because of their inherent desire to want to be part of their ‘pack’ environment, dogs may prefer to be scolded than ignored. Even negative experience is better than none at all. The more we scold, the more they engage. Unwittingly, we may be reinforcing our dog’s bad behavior.

At Pawsitive Interaction Dog Obedience, we focus on three ways to improve your situation:

  • We assess what really triggers and contributes to your dog’s poor behavior

  • We explore what goals you have in training your dog

  • We outline a training program specifically suited for your circumstances

Then we train you and your dog on positive reinforced techniques to meet those goals.

When you think you've met a breaking point with your dog, don't give up!

Problem Behavior prevention training is the key to improving your dog's behavior.
